Forge Valley School among top performers in the city for A-Levels progress

This year’s results reflect two years of hard work and perseverance, with students achieving excellent outcomes.
Many are now moving onto exciting destinations, including university, apprenticeships or employment pathways that match their individual aspirations and talents. Once again, our students demonstrate, that with ambition and endeavour, alongside excellent teaching and good attendance, the sky really is the limit.
Students made outstanding progress, placing Forge Valley Sixth Form amongst the highest-performing providers in Sheffield. Almost 45% of all grades achieved were A*-B and the average grade for Applied Subjects was a Distinction. These results underline the continuing growth and development of our school’s post-16 provision.
Dale Barrowclough, Executive Headteacher, said:
“We are delighted for our students who have yet again exceeded expectations. This reflects their hard work and the excellent provision at Forge Valley.
I would like to thank every member of staff involved in realising this success. Without their dedication this would not have been possible.”
