As we come to the end of another busy and productive half term, we would like to extend a sincere thank you to all our parents, carers, and pupils for your continued support with attendance. Your partnership plays a vital role in ensuring that every young person has the best possible opportunity to succeed.

Forge Valley School is continuing to build a positive culture of attendance, driven by strong pastoral support, high expectations, and a commitment to nurturing the whole child. As part of its inclusive ethos, the school places significant emphasis on creating an environment where every pupil feels safe, supported, and motivated to attend and thrive.

Supportive Communication

Our pastoral teams and attendance officers are always available to talk through any concerns. Early conversations help us understand what might be affecting attendance and work together on solutions.

Practical Strategies

We can offer guidance on morning routines, managing illness, understanding attendance expectations, and accessing resources designed to help families keep school days running smoothly.

Working in Partnership

We know that every family’s circumstances are different. By maintaining regular contact and working collaboratively, we can ensure each pupil receives the support they need to attend consistently and confidently.
